Ink, colors and gold on silk, mounted as a handscroll. In a blue-green mountainous landscape, Jiang Taigong (Jiang Ziya) fishing by the Wei River. King Wen of Zhou, accompanied by his guards, comes to visit him for advice. At the other shore, a pair of cranes resting on the rock under a large pine tree. Signed lower left: "Chen Wan Shouqi gong hui" (respectfully painted by Wan Shouqi) and two seals: "shou", "qi". Lower right a collector's seal unread. Title preface and colophon by Zheng Xianzhou, dated jihai. Title label inscribed "Yu Xue Lou cang" (Yu Xue Lou collection).
